Hi all

Here are our two lovely new kittens, Sunny (Ginger) and Poppy (Black and White). Our last cat Tinker passed away a few months ago, and I swore no more cats.

So here they are!!!

Thanks Val - they are an endless source of amusement. Although we think they might be exceptionally talented ... we came down this morning and one of them had pooped in Charlie's potty!

We are frantic - Poppy doesn't really go out of our garden, but we haven't seen her since yesterday lunchtime. I have distributed leaflets amongst the neighbours this morning, and my next door neighbour Becky said she saw Poppy dashing out of our road (narrowly avoiding two cars) and disappearing. I have walked around the area all last night and twice today, but there is no sign of her

I can only think something spooked her. I just wish she would come home, we miss her so much. Sunny goes out into the garden meowing ... I think he is calling her.

I will keep you posted.

Oh no ! Lisa I hope Poppy comes home/is found soon... its such a worry when a pet is missing. Going back about 12 years ago I had a ginger and white tom called Barley who went missing on christmas eve... we hunted everywhere, asked all the neighbours ect, christmas was ruined I was so upset. Then new years eve he just turned up, cold, wet and starving hungry but o.k. we can only assume he was locked up somewhere over the christmas and was released when the people got home. I'll be thinking of you and Poppy until her safe return. Love Lorlor.x.

Thank you Lorlor, that's so kind of you. Still no news as yet, Charlie and I have been out most of the morning calling her, but nothing. I am so worried as she was up until now a little homebody and never went out of the garden. I just don't know if she is familiar enough with her surroundings out of the garden to find her way home. My mum and dad are coming over tomorrow to help us look.

Aw Lisa, I'm so sorry to hear your news . . . what a worry. I really, really hope Poppy returns home safe and well a.s.a.p! What's the weather been like where you are? Perhaps she's hiding out with all these gales and heavy showers. Well good luck with your search . . . I'll be thinking of you!

Does she have a collar on with your name and address on it, so someone can return her if found?

I have had several cats in the past and they do often turn up again whan they go missing .

Thank you everyone for your positive words. Ma and Pa are coming over today as Martin is at work, and we are going to put up posters and visit some of the more out of the way places round and about.
