I'm a new member and would like to say hello to all you fellow Sindy collectors. I've loved Sindy since i was a little girl. My mother had held on to her Sindy and passed her on to me along with a few new one's and I have loved them ever since. I don't have a large collection because I have to save for each one I obtain now. I look forward to talking about Sindy with you all.

A Warm Welcome to this FAB Forum from me - we have a lovely mixture of members on here who hail from all over UK, Europe, USA and Canada, (who all have an interest/love of mainly Sindy but also various other Fashion Dolls) I hope that you'll enjoy chatting to them all at some point

I'm Anita. I'm 49 and had Sindy when she first came out in the 60s. My Mam gave my dolls and stuff to younger family members (cousins) when I turned 14.
I did buy a few Sindys in the early 90s, but my passion for her wasn't fully rekindled on a big scale again until August 2005! :-[Since then I have acquired a tidy few (or a lot)!!LOLOL

I really love the TGs and miniature hard-head Sindys with sad faces most of all - they seem to say take me home with you!!LOL

Hi everyone,

Thank you very much for the warm welcome, It's such a nice feeling to know that there are other Sindy collectors out there. My husband thinks I'm nuts. (I don't complain when he buys computer games lol) I have taken a picture of my Sindy's today so hope to post as soon as my husband is able to do it for me. I'm not very good with computers. I also have a Sindy super home and furniture up in the loft I'm trying to find a corner in my home to fit it in, for now I just have the dolls out.

I forgot to tell you that I live in Brighton East Sussex, but origionally I was born in Lancashire. Am going to wait to show you the picture of my dolls because I'm waiting for some new girls to arrive through the post, I love looking at other people's collections and how they display Sindy. I always struggle with displaying her so it's nice to see how other people display their Sindy's for ideas.

Welcome aboard! That's great you still have your original collection! My Dad suggested I gave them away to neighbours children when I was 18 but i regret it now! I started collecting just over a year ago and have a nice collection now!Can't wait to see yours!
