Hey all. I'm Barbee, tho none of my dolls are. My collection is a disorganized variety of fifties fashion (lots of 18" Revlon) and MA (old and new) and other various orphans, but my new love is Sindy so I am indeed a Sindy Newbie. I now have a few and just received my Sindy history book, so I'm just getting started. This site is outstanding and I really look forward to exploring Sindy world here. Nice to meet y'all Barbee

Hi Barbee Welcome along to our every expanding band of Sindy Doll Collectors - hope you'll soon feel at home amongst us!! What part of US are you from (we have a few US collectors here now)? You'll find we have sections for all the other dolls that we collect too!! Just yell if you are stuck and need help in Identifying your Sindys or any of her outfits - there's bound to be one of us that knows something that will help you!! Perhaps you can get together with fellow US Forum members and have yourselves a few Sindy Doll days like we do here!! Hope to be chatting away with you soon Luv Nita xxx Hi Sunflower The Book we refer to (that often gives us very confusing info) is The History Of Sindy or HOS for short. It was written by Colette Mansell who used to work for Pedigree at one time and you can get it off www.amazon.co.uk either brand new or you just might be able to get a decent second-hand one off there for less than the brand new one (worth considering). If you need any help just give one of us a shout!! Luv Nita xxx

Hi guys! Thanks for the welcome, wow, great forum here, feelin the love, thanks Exactly, Nita, that's the book - History Of Sindy by Colette Mansell. I'm hoping info on this forum can clarify any confusion in the book... tho I don't yet know enough to be confused... lol. I got mine (new) from Overstock.com for $21.95 ($23.35 with shipping), which is less than I saw it anywhere else.

Hi Sunflower Glad you managed to get one - some of the CDs that are about are pretty good too. I'll put up a thread with some of the sites that might be helpful and if any of us find new ones, feel free to add to the list. ;D Luv Nita xxx
