Hello, I currently reside in the USA, but I am originally from Sweden where my love for Sindy was started as a child in the 70's/80's;
I remember being a child and going to the toy store and there where so many things I wanted and I never got. (I had an older Ballerina in a lilac tutu, and the red dancer, and another one that I am not sure what outfit she originally came in. I also had a few of her accessories and several clothing pieces).
I remember seeing the new active Sindy with the pink skirt and I wanted her so badly but never got her. Years later, I still remember being in the toy store looking at the ballerina wishing I had the opportunity to go back and get her somehow..... And then, one night a few years ago with not much to do I decide to do a search on Sindy on eBay....
And now my collection has grown to embarrassing proportions over the past few years. Really, large boxes upon boxes. Luckily for me, my husband has been very supportive.
I mainly collect Sindy's from mid 70 - mid 80, but I do have a couple of new face Sindy's from 86.
I recently started to take pictures of everything because I found that I was buying duplicate items because I could not remember everything I had. I am contemplating starting a small website one day with all the pictures. I am also hoping that once we move to a bigger place that I can set up the house and many of the accessories.
Thank you for letting me introduce myself.
Sylvia
