Hello to all from Indianapolis,

I'm a baby boomer Mom and Children's Librarian whose childhood doll was Ideal's Tammy. I discovered Sindy through the wonders of the internet and wished I had known her during my childhood as well. I often wonder what Tammy would have been like today if she had not been discontinued. It is so great to have Sindy alive and well and forerver new.

I was a member of the Yahoo Sindy group but that seems to have dropped off. I hadn't checked in for quite some time.

My husband is a children's librarian too. The 5 kids in the family range in age from 27 to 8. The two youngest are 2 little ladies we adopted from Vietnam when they were 15 months and 2 years old
respectively. They are now 8 and 9 and I am just about to clean
out a room and introduce them to my Tammys and Sindys.

I'm looking forward to listening and learning. I have read ariticles
saying Sindy has had another makeover from Pedigree and I'm excited to find out all about it.

Good to have you onboard - what a joy to have been a babyboomer (like quite a few of us on here) and now have two little girls to introduce to Sindy, Tammy and perhaps other vintage dolls too!!
I hope you'll soon be posting pics of your dolls and you'll enjoy being a part of this group too!!

I'm a generation xer! I had my first Sindy in the late 70s/early 80s and I rediscovered her last year and love her. I mostly collect late 70s-mid 80s Pedigree Sindys and have a few new ones but also 90s/00s Barbie and the odd other doll I think is cute! I look forward to seeing your collection! Welcome aboard!
