Hi i am new to the site and found it in the hope someone could help me. I have an early sindy washday scene setter set boxed and complete. After hours of searching i have not been able to find anything about it. i have seen one picture on the sindy museum web site of a set that is not complete and has no box or any information on it. If there is anyone that could tell me a little more that would be great , i am looking to sell it and dont have a clue how much to ask thanks again

Hi Plushbuz Please could you write up a little bit more in the way of an Introduction about yourself and what you collect, as the Forum Rules ask all New Members to do. We don't really encourage anyone posting on here without doing that bit first. Once that formality is out of the way, you're sure to get plenty of answers to your questions and possibly some advice on an average price range then Regards, Anita xxx

Hi Mellisa... welcome to the forum. Is this the washday set with the little box of Lux in?? I think the best thing to do is decide on a minimum you would accept for it then put it on ebay at that starting price... if you truely don't know a value it's probably the best way. Most of the collectors watch ebay avidly to find what they are after and are sure to see it. I guess it's worth what people are willing to pay!! ;D I imagine you'd get a good price depending on it's condition. Alternatively you could put it on the forum here on the selling section and ask for offers over.... Ebay is probably the best bet though and if you put to send over seas and tick the box to list in America you'll get loads of hits. Probably teaching grandma how to suck eggs but don't forget to add tracking onto the parcel on ebay (75p plus postage here in the UK or £5 for international signed for then plus price of airmail packet), otherwise you'll have no cover if it gets lost! not what you want if it fetches lots of money!!! Good luck xxxxxxx

Hi Melissa, the complete washday set is desirable as it doesn't come along very often so I would think you could expect £50 for it.
