Thanks for your kind comments, I love the blazerway outfit but not sure if there is another variation to find? Becky - I would LOVE to own Checker Decker (believe there are 2 variations) as well as a top pop sindy with her outfit and a mitzi! Looks like I will have to take out a bank loan as all those items go for mega money! Carl - I love the 1976 onwards dolls - love hard heads - they are so pretty, there faces are really striking and stunning and when they are dressed in the right outfits they look gorgeous! I also like the premiere sindy and shaping up - infact there is not much I dont like really. I will try and upload some more photos but at the moment we are having new carpets fitted on tuesday so I have had to clear out both lounge and dining room and poor sindys have all gone in crates but the good news is that once the carpet is down I get to have a real dolly time of putting them all back and I will be going through taking photos of them and seeing if there outfits are complete! Sounds a bit like Im a looney but I do like them to be wearing a complete outfit (if I can get it that is)!!! LOL So watch this space................................ xx

Becky - yes I sure am!!
As for checker decker I thought I had seen somewhere about there being 2 variations.
That sindy museum website is absolutely fantastic! Both Annie & Kathy have done such a brilliant job and it really shows. I love just looking at the wonderful pictures and I have found it great for finding out information regarding outfits - I have it saved as a bookmark as I love it so much!

Hello Candy. Pleased to meet you. I really enjoyed your story. Your passion for Sindy was refreshing to read and stirred up strong memories of my own childhood Sindy. Trendy Girls are lovely. You must have an amazing collection. I liked your picture of your girls in their yellow mac's. Good luck with the carpet fitting on Tuesday.

Hi Kathryn
Thanks for your kind words, its funny how you remember certain things from childhood, I never imagined that years after selling my sindys I would want to collect them again - I only wish the prices now were the same as they were in the 70's!!! I never saw a trendy girl when I was young its just over the years that I have got to like them and now absolutely adore their faces etc - maybe its because they have nice chunky thighs and are based on a real woman!! LOL
Ionna - you will find that collecting sindy will gain you lots of info. I remember when I first started collecting I didnt really know anything about sindys apart from what dolls I had as a young girl but over the years my knowledge has got better and there are some fab websites around now aswell which are really good for info. You will look back in a couple of years and be able to help people id outfits etc I bet.....
Candy xx

Hi Candy. Buying dollies for the old prices would be great, especially the boxed ones who go for a lot of money! When I have looked at pictures of Sindys in toy shops from the past I have felt a pang and wished I could go back and buy them all! I missed out on Trendy's because I did not know about them, but if I had I would have wanted them. I have spotted them before, but the prices for them are always so steep. I I have a Sindy with chunky thighs which I find endearing, but do not know what one she is. I hope the carpet fitting was not too stressful as I imagine it could be with having to move furniture about the room! Ioanna. I don't know anything about them either. So you are not alone. Wish I had a few though.

Hi Kathryn
Has your sindy got any numbers on her back and above her bum?
You could always post a picture of her - she sounds like a trendy if she has chunky thighs
The carpet is in and now its the putting everything back to normal - Ive just picked up the curtains from the dry cleaners so need to hang them this afternoon then my sindys will come out the crates and go back in the cabinets - I can then take some pictures and post them!!!

Hi Candy. I will have to have a look. I stored her away and have to remember where! It must be a relief for you that the carpet is now laid. I bet you can't wait to your Sindy's out! Looking forward to seeing your pictures.
