Hello from Manchester Newbie

Hi everyone !

Just wanted to introduce myself. My names Martina Im 33 years old and have been a doll collector for 4 years. I started off collecting Blythe dolls and then one day I won an auction for a Sindy wardrobe which brought back lots of childhood memories - I decided to collect the entire house which I have nearly completed. Im obsessed. I have recently bought two sindys which im not sure about as in where they are from, what year etc. Im hoping to meet lots of new Sindy friends on here to inspire me and help me out with a few questions.

I have just found your thread.
Nice to meet another Newbie.
I know what you mean by being obsessed.
I have my dolls dotted about all over the place.
I think we are competing for living space!
And yet my dolly passion seems to be getting worse!
The more I look at them, the more I bond and am charmed.
Have sucumbed and given in only to realise I have no room!
I live in a flat so dollys and me are a bit squashed.
Looking forward to hearing more about your dolls.

Hi Martina - sorry for the late reply - welcome to the forum ! You will find out all you need about sindy here and meet some lovely helpful and experienced collectors to give you advice.
I luuuuv Blythe dolls especially the ooak/custom ones I see on Flickr! I would love to own one and customise one but wouldn't know where to start! Cheers Janee xx
