Obviously I am new to this forum but not new to Sindy. I got my first Sindy in 1975 (Funtime in blue swimsuit) and during the late 1970's and early 80's she and my other Sindys became constant childhood companions. I didn't have vast amounts of accessories (bedroom set, buggy and tent, horse) but I found that the best accessory for Sindy was my own imagination. So that brings me to now, all these years later. I started knitting and crocheting last year and found that making doll clothes was something I hadn't done for years and still loved. My original Sindys have sadly gone, passed to others or lost in house moves. But I have bought a 1982 one and have been giving her some TLC. I have my original Pippa from 1977 and she is currently awaiting a new head of hair! Looking forward to reading advice and stories on the forum 'cos Sindy still rocks!

Thought I'd pop on and say hello. I've not been on the site as long as you I started in August but I'm finding it a lovely place to chat about a shared love. Really excited about going to the doll fair in October in Lincoln. The bug has hit me very quickly! LOL xx
