Hi all First of all - thank you for accepting me as a member My name is Hanne and I am a 34 year old girl woman (d**n, that sounds sooo old, when I don't have any kids yet ) and I have totally fallen for the Sindy's, which are my favorite dolls. I have only been collecting dolls (including Sindy's) for a few years, and my collection is not big, but that will probably change, after I began to use ebay this year ;D - and there my username is hanne_skriver - nothing is hidden here Besides collecting Sindy's, I like to re-root and do other touch-ups (if needed) - and one of the reasons why I have become a member here, is to get tips and tricks in that direction. The other is that I love to look at and read about Sindy's. That was it for now. Best wishes, Hanne

Hi and welcome Hanne
Interesting to hear about your doll collection and I wonder what other dolls you collect? Ebay is certainly handy for collecting vintage dolls as there's not many other places to find them these days.
Anyway, look forward to chatting some more . . . this is certainly an excellent place to find hints and tips for restoring beautiful dolls!
Love Susan x

Susan, Annax and Anita..... Thank you very much, ladies Susan...... Besides Sindy, which is my number 1, I like Barbies and Tonner dolls too. I have some Barbies, and a very few Tonner dolls so far. I do have some other dolls as well, but the only type of doll I will call myself a collector of, is Sindy. But my collection is not big at all, and that is for any of the dolls. In case you - or anyone else - would be interested, I actually have a homepage, where my dolls can be seen. www.sennah.dk/dukker.htm Unfortunately only in Danish, but you don't need to read, to look at pics Hope I don't break any rules by posting the link to my page. I do have a few other dolls than what is to be seen right now, but I update often. If you look and wonder about the name I have given my page - Dukkehjoernet - it means The Doll Corner in English! Anita.... Yeah, I just HAD to be a member of both places Than I have some other things to do online, besides spending all my time (and money) at ebay, ha ha ;D It is just soooo addictive! At the Danish online auction qxl.dk - where I (before I began to use ebay) was buying dolls through, there are rarely any Sindy's or other interesting dolls and accessories to be found. But with the British ebay I have truly entered Sindy heaven!

Hi Hanne There are quite a few of us, including me, that collect Tonner dolls pretty seriously these days and most of us belong on this Forum Until recently I only collected Tiny Kitty Colliers and Tyler Wentworths, but I have started to branch out and have Suzette Dubois, Sydney Chase a Lana Lang (Kingston Hospital Nurse) and an Esme. ;D I am waiting on an Ellowyne and an Antoinette arriving just now. I also collect Sindy, Tammy, Takara Jenny, Fleur and I do have rather a lot of Barbies -including Silkstones - in my collection Please do post pics of your Tonners when you can as well as your other dolls Luv Anita xxx

Anita & Val... I will like to have more Tonner dolls too - just LOVE that exclusive look they have. But the price.... well, let's just say, that I'll probably never get that many of them! And I have especially fallen for the Ellowyne-dolls, but that will only be a dream for me right now. But one day....

Hi Hanne ;D I started out with just the one Ellowyne and thought that's it but then the addiction started ;D. I do try not to look at the new ones but i just can't resist ;D. Here is a pic of my recent Tonner girl Antoinette. Val x

Val... She's absolutely beautiful! I'm positive that an Antoinette doll will look good at home with me as well ;D Natasha and Susan... Thank you both - you are very kind! BTW... I have just created an English "help"-page at my doll site, so none of the English reading viewers will get lost in there, in the future
