Hi There Dee You are NEVER too old for Sindy or any other doll come to that!! There are a few collectors here that are in their 50+ and 60+ and there are loads of collectors here that are 30+ and 40+ too and some are younger than that, so we have a real mix of ages here!! Age is just a state of mind We have a great time on the boards here. Some of the dolls on the home page pic are Sindy Ballerinas and Actives (their arms, legs, hands and feet are bendable) ;D They all belong to the owner of the website - Cheryl - who is also owner of this Forum Lovely dolls aren't they?!! The outfit the Sindy with pink hair is wearing is called Star Dance and there is a Sindy with curly bunches that usually wears that outfit. If you look through a load of the threads in the Pedigree Sindy section of the Forum, you will evenually come across pics of her!! Hope you have fun trawling the boards of this Forum and that you make loads of new friends along the way Chat soon, Luv Anita xxx

Hi Dee Yes, you'll soon realise that a lot of forum members were just little kids when Sindy first came out and their love for her stems from the mid 60s era. I am one of these folk so to me you are just a 'nipper'!!
Welcome and just remember you're never too old!!
LOL Bronnie

Welcome Dee! Its so lovely to have new members, we are all a very friendly bunch on the site, and very supportive of each other which I have found really lovely. I have just turned 40 this year, having rediscovered my love of Sindy when my childhood friend passed back a load of Sindy stuff that I had given her when I was younger. My love for Sindy bloomed once again! I have such fun browsing through Ebay and car boot sales in the hopes of finding a treasure! Welcome again, and lovely to have another new member. Lisa xxxx

:)Aaaawwhh Dee i've messaged before on a couple of your other threads but just read this. Never ever too old as others have said. I am 40 in November and a fella and been collecting Sindy, Barbie and other dolls for 19 years and before that enjoying my Sisters dolls. I always see being a doll person and collector like being enclosed in a fabulous and sometimes magical bubble. I'm sure others feel like it as when we go into doll moods we can be lost for hours. I'm not always dollying but they are never far from my mind. Not difficult in my flat i guess as i am surround by thousands all over it, masses of pairs of eyes.

Hi Dee
I haven't been on here for a while and just picked up your thread! I was 53 in August so you are definitely a wee young thing! My love for Sindy started when I was 8 (in 1964) when Sindy was just a girl herself. I have my original Blonde and Brunette Weekenders girls along with some of their original 60s outfits. Everything was packed away in the loft for years and years until I took early retirement from work 3 years ago and I have been collecting ever since!
As everyone else has said it is just such a great place here at Sindy On Line - any questions you have will be answered by someone and you can always ask for photos etc. etc. as well as post your own pics.
I'm sure you will have years and years of fun on here.
Love Judy xxx
