Hello everybody, I found this Sindy collecters forum a while ago, but have just got around to introducing myself.
I had everything Sindy when I was young...Well it felt like everthing. When I think back now I can't beleive i didn't treasure it all. I started looking at collecters sites when I found some of it when my mother moved house. We live near Canterbury in Kent and when the Pedigree factory in Canterbury closed down my mum bought me and my sister boxes of Pedigree toys - mainly Sindy and accessories at auction.
Amongst these items she kept a box of 25-30 folders which have genuine Pedigree Sindy outfit patterns and the designers signiture, date etc.
Amazingly each folder is different but they seem to contain a factory pattern of outfits made, and samples of materials used or tried out for each outfit. Some have more to the folder than others, but it is fascinating to see correspondance from Hong Kong, and to see why some designs were not made.
Because of this find I am now looking on ebay and selling some doubles on items I still have, and my interest in what other collecters have treasured has greatened.
