Hi Everyone I have been so busy of late time has flown since I got back from my Carls last week. I however have been trying to fill in the time with catching up on some more re-rooting as I had a week off from restorations. May I introduce my latest two ladies The Tall Barbie is a late 60's MOD Barbie which has been re-rooted into a similar hair style to her original with a slight difference. I have used blonde nylon as the texture is much closer to the original. As you may notice the lovely little lady is Chris one of the many Barbie friends and family. I have re-rooted her useing a brunette nylon. Both ladies are dressed in original outfits. barbie is modeling a lovely gift from Carl, and outfit called Jump In To Lace from 1968 and Chris is wearing one of Tutti's outfits a dress called "Skipping Rope" I hope you all like. Kind regards Kevin x

Hi Lisa and Val Thank you I was so pleased with the final look of the ladies. Barbie was a challenge I had some split holes in the Barbie but I did manage to overcome this with no glue so I was chuffed generally she was a pleasure to re-root - the outfit was a lovely gift from Carl and the colour combination works so well Kind regards Kevin x

Hi! Im also a huge vintage Barbie collector and have loads of mod dolls (might upload a few reroot photos if I have the time) and was wondering how hard it was to reroot Chris? I have one Chris and two Tuttis, one of which could do with a makeover! I use the knot method for my barbies and sindys, did you find it workable with little Chris? Fantastic job by the way! Sofie xx

Hi Sofie Thank you. The Chris was okay to use the knot method I have re-rooted Pippa as well as Mini Dollikins and have found the knot method works well for all of these ladies. I look forward to seeing pics of yours to Kevin x
