My Alvin died suddenly last Saturday (28/03) He was loved by everyone who knew him and he loved everyone he knew. He was truly my baby,I had him when he was just 5 weeks old. We will miss his big character and daft smiles and all the silly antics that made us laugh so much. He was handled by a wonderful crem called Green Pastures, and was returned to me,hand delivered,in a beautiful solid oak box with brass handles and name plate in 2 days. I feel a little better knowing he was handled with care and dignity, but I so miss the big lumux. It is 20 years since I have had a hair free house, and it just doesn't feel like home. Mickey, the cat who thinks he's a dog,is as devastated as me. Petal, his "mother figure" died in January, now Alv has gone,he's like me,walking around aimlessly. He's never been without a dog in his life. Hopefully,I will find the right pups soon and give some other needy dogs a home.

I'm so sorry - it's so upsetting to lose a pet. Try and focus on all the lovely memories you must have of Alvin.
