Hi clschinke
Welcome to my forum ;D We are a friendly lot, I hope you enjoy chatting with us. ;D
I have a 6 story sindy home and I know exactly what you mean about wanting your daughter to have the same fun. I never had the super home when I was little but my best friend did. We were always down her house playing with the super home together.
Anyway hope to be chatting with you soon!
lotsa love Cheryl

Hello all fellow Sindy Collectors.
I got my first Sindy in 1963 when I lived inScotland ...when we moved to Canada in 1966 she was lost in the move. Broke My heart
I am now 48 years young and have managed to replace my original Made In England Sindy
I have most of the original outfits from the early 60's as well.. I have caught the collecting bug and have added 15 more Sindys to my collection as well as a Sindy Light up Country manor.
my collection now includes 4 1963 12 inch Sindys 1 10.5 inch mini Sindy 2 New Zealand Sindys 1 1966-67 Hong Kong Sindy and 5 center part Sindys
2 more are coming to live in her new home. I remeber the joy my first one gave me and now I look at my collection and treasure it.
I must admit I though I was cazy getting back into Sindy but I find after a very long shift at work I use the dolls as a destressor chnaging their outfits , taking their pictures in their newoutfit for the day.
Mt freinds never knew such a a gorgeous doll existed they had you know who. My friends have tried borrowing one of mine from time to time, they thing they are exquisite.
I have plainly told them if you want to see them they are here
Anyway enough for now
I hope I can post pictures of my girls for all to see
Carol

Hi to all New Members Good to know you have joined us and hope to chat about Sindy with you all soon. Hope you find a Sindy house for your daughter soon, clschinke. It must be nice to be able to share your love of dolls with her!! You and I are about the same age Carol - I'm 49 this time round - so I guess you had Sindy when she first came out in the 60s too!! I also had all the outfits then, but sadly, unlike you, my Mam gave mine away when I reached my early teens. I can't decide which is worse - to lose her in transit or to have her forcibly taken away from you!! Most of my friends tell me they still had their toys stored away to be passed along to their kids! Post pics when you can and hope we get to chat soon!! ;D Luv 'Nita xx
