Hi Every one I have been a little quite of late on my re-roots having spent a long weekend with Carl and then this lady has been taking all my spare time. She has taken over 1000 plugs of hair and several weeks to re-root but I hope you all think as I do that she was well worth the effort. . . . At the moment she is just lacking shoes and I will probably make her a scarf to go with her original outfit. to date she has been my longest re-root taking hours just to remove all her original hair. Then I have had to remove pink high lighter pen from all around her eyes then I have taken around six weeks on a nd off to re-root her but I am pleased with her finished look. Kind regards Kevin x

Hi Val - Thank you she was a labour of love, my fingers are rather sore now but it was well worth the effort. I have some Sheena's too and another original Crissy Oh and a Velvet, I do try and keep clear of the larger ladies as they take up so much more room lol Kevin x

Hi Kevin - she is lovely!
May I ask, how did you go about getting the head off? I assume the plugs are of course much larger than sindy's? any other tips? what hair did you use
Im asking as I have a baby crissy that I need to do a partial reroot on the fringe i have the real crissy hair to do this too. Im a little scared at trying to get the head off. Thank goodness its a little job.
i do dream of one day doing a brunette baby crissy too.
cheers nic

Hi Nic Thank you - The head was a little difficult to get off. I suggest heating the base of the head with hot water and in the case of Crissy Pulling lol. Inside the head is an inverted cone and it is a pig to get off if you do not heat similarly when you return the head you need to heat the base of the head and push on. The plugs of hair are the same size as Sindy but many many more. The head is semi hard and grips the needle which means many of the plugs I did pull through with plyers. I have used a Nylon hair for this one and it took two very large packets, one complete packet for the pony tail and about one for the re-root. I am not sure how the babys head is attached to the body but guess similar. Hi Di Thank you I am so pleased with her - I have just about recovered enough to work on my rooted Paul again lol. thank you for the links they are brilliant Kind regards Kevin x

Awww thank you Robin and Sue. it took me several attemps over a few months to remove the hair which was a pig lol tight weave on the inside and then she sat a while beside me thinking I must start I must start and then it did take loads of time but I was so pleased with the results. I hope to find more but she isn't a lady I would like to re-root every day of the week lol Kevin x
