Hi Paul
Welcome to the friendliest forum around! I'm fairly new too, and I've really enjoyed chatting with everyone, sharing photos of our precious girls and entering the latest competition! Its great fun, and lovely to know there are others out there who share your enthusiasm for these beautiful dolls, and that we shouldn't actually be locked in the attic!!!
Speak soon, love
Lisa (wiveygirl) xxxx

Hi there Paul - welcome to the forum - look forward to reading your blog when I get time away from my 16 month old son! Are you into rerooting and/or ooak sindy's at all? Cheers Janee x

Hi Janee, I am actually just on my first Sindy re-root. I am creating a Aurburn haired beauty for myself. I can only do about 10 holes per session as I get easily bored LOL! It may take me a couple of weeks to complete her.
Hope you get time to read my blog.
Welcome to the forum too X
Paul

Hi Paul I know we have had one or two pm's but it is great to be able to follow your journey through your blog. Thank you for sharing with us and I look forward to hearing more . You really have a fabulous collection and I admire your girls. During the 80's I relived my Sindy life through my daughter as I was an "original Sindy "girl of the 60.s. I really must dig out a picture to share as it shows me and my friend dressed as Sindy and Patch in a carnaval back in the 60's. Anyway , back to the point, Hi new guy, great to know you

Yes great to have chatted to you already. Glad you like my blog, I thought I would trace my steps with this project. Sadly I don't have any pictures of me and my sister playing with the dolls as kids, I thought I had a few of us with my Jem dolls but they are lost somewhere. I would love to see your picture though. Paul x

Hi Paul - yes I'm the same - I get really bored and I find rerooting very tedious. What I do now is to knot all the hair first, perhaps when watching tv so my mind is not totally focused on the tediousness!! Then once all hair is knotted and cut to the length I want I start putting the plugs in - again when watching tv! Good luck with your girl, I'm trying to finish 2 at the moment! (another trick to keep you interested - have more than one on the go at any one time!) CHeers Janee x

Thanks
