Hi everyone, wow my first Sindy forum. I collected Sindy as a kid and loved her, after 6 years of collecting Jem and Barbie as an adult collector here I am back with the girl who started it all off! My Sindy story is on my blog if anyone wants to read it as I won't bore you all with it so early LOL sindyland.blogspot.com/ The blog will also be my journey of re-collecting. I hope to make some friends here that I can share my enthusiasm with as my beloved Sister who I shared Sindy with is now a Mum of 2 with no time to spare LOL! Anyway great to be part of a new Sindy adventure. Hope to hear from you soon. Paul

Thanks for the nice welcome everyone. Glad you like my blog. I hope that I will make lots of great pals here that are as entusiastic as I am. I am only supposed to be re-collecting what I had as a kid but I guess I will get more that that ha ha!
I am collecting from the 80's only right now as that was my era. In fact I just got a 1987 Ice Scater this morning. I did quite like the new face Sindy's
Thanks again for the warm welcome Paul

:)Welcome Paul
How i remember being a young boy and wanting dolls. I lived through Sindy in the 80's with my younger Sister as my elder Sister had mainly baby dolls. I got the Bionic Man doll but i wanted the Bionic Woman instead. Years and Years later i now have two in my huge doll collection. I can relate so much to visiting friends who were mainly girls so i could get to their dolls. My parents never really minded me playing with dolls either but wouldnt buy me my own other than cuddly toys and action man. I started on my own doll collecting nearly 19 years ago when i bought Sindys horse from a boot sale and then had to get a rider for it. I was then old enough to think if i want dolls of my own i will have them. The rest is history and many many many Sindys, Barbies, baby and toddler dolls later. I started my partner Kevin collecting Sindy nearly 3 years ago and he caught the bug and reroots etc.
Great blog, an interesting read.
Carl and Kevin xx

Thanks Carl and Kevin, I too wanted the Bionic woman, how funny is that. I did get a Bionic Woman annual one year for Christmas but not the doll. My partner decided to collect My Little Pony just to spite me a few years back, he ended up being addicted then gave it all up. I now have like 50 MLP's floating around, it's funny thought whenever I suggest selling them he doesn't want to part with them ha ha!
