We have hatched a Triop, this one is 13 days old and is about 2.5 cm long, he is quite playful. It's a shame they only live for a couple of months xx

I have added a couple more pics, and yes it is quite unusual, not on the normal list of household pets. It is crustasious, so grows by shedding skins and grows from a speck on hatching to an adult in two weeks and will grow to about 4 cm long. This one spends alot of time eating... and swimming upside down. Love Dawn xx

Hi Dawn what a facinating creature, was this just an only egg you had or the only one to hatch out of a batch? are you going to give it friends?.Have you named it?. Keep us informed on how it's going. Lorlor.x.
