Hello, My name is Lisa and I have just been reunited with my childhood Sindy doll! I instantly fell back in love with her! She came back to me in a very sorry state, and so I have just finished my first reroot, and bought her a gorgeous deep red ballet outfit to complete her transformation! Since then I have gone "Sindy loopy" and spend my time purchasing dolls, clothes and furniture that I either owned or wanted in my childhood. I have managed to collect a mint condition 80's active ballerina in her box, a lovely Shaping Up Sindy, a sleeping eyes Sweet Dreams and recently found a boxed Weekender Sindy in a charity shop!! When I get a mo I will post a pic of my lovely ladies! Anyway, I'm waffling so throw the budgie cover over me. Can't wait to meet you! Lisa xxx  |

Hi Lisa, Welcome to the forum you will love it here and soon get addicted.
After purchasing the dolls, fashions and furniture that you had as a kid, the next stage is collecting other dolls that you would have liked and then having to have them in each hair colour. There is no escape!

LOL my hubby is the same, he laughed at me for washing my newly aquired ebay Sindy today, then got all his airfix soldiers out and lined them all up ,the hypocrite.heehee  |

Ha ha that's good! Hubby very kindly ordered me The History of Sindy as a late Christmas pressie, it arrived yesterday ... and guess who I found leafing through it??? I think it was the pictures of Carol Smillie in a leotard that did it!!! |
