Hi there, thought I should introduce myself, I am Lou and I was a Sindy fan in the 70s,and recently rediscovered my passion after finding my dolls in the attic. I am looking forward to talking all things Sindy with you all, I am attempting my first reroot( one of my dolls I had chopped about ) and will show you when shes finished. Been buying on Ebay too, lots of furniture that I wanted in the 70s but never seemed to get, I am regressing back to my childhood and I am loving it !  |

Hi Lou, Don't forget to take a before photo.
I was also a Sindy fan in the 70's but only had 2 dolls, one was a hand me down.
The clothes that I had were not genuine sindy but hand made.
I have now been making up for lost time collecting things I would have liked to have had as a child. it's a dreadful addiction.

Hi Lou This is my first reply as I'm new too - and my story is so similar to yours!!! I have been reunited with my childhood Sindy (in a very sorry state) and have just done my first reroot on her. I bought her a deep red ballet outfit and she looks gorgeous! Since then, I have gone a little "Sindy loopy", purchasing all the things I either owned or wanted when I was a little girl. Its wonderful isn't it! Sindy is just so beautiful compared to the rubbish that is out there today (Bratz, you know who you are!). Anyway, hi, and have fun! Lisa x |

Hi there everyone I am so enjoying my reunion with the prettiest doll ever, I have now aquired a couple of new Sindys from Ebay and a couple of new outfits. I truly have the bug again.( well when I say a couple that may be ten or more,lol) I have posted pics of my reroots in the OOAK subforum. |
