Hi I'm new and only been collecting Sindy's for a few months now trying to rebuild the collections me and my sister in law had as kids because as we grew up our parents sold our old toys at car boots long before they realised what they were worth and the joys of ebay :but i'm looking forward to talking to everyone on the site about Sindy. Bex  I wish you luck on your collecting ;D i think most of us are trying to "get back" our collections that we had as kids..., and i'm now collecting the sindy outfits & stuff before my time  .. my era of playing with Sindy was the mid, late 70s' and early 80s'.. It's an on going struggle and very addictive..also gets expensive  Lynn x |

Welcome to Sindy online!I know how you feel, I gave my Sindy collection I had as a kid away to neighbours kids up the street 'cos Dad said I'd grown out of them, I didn't know how much they'd be worth now! I too have only been collecting a few months and have quite a few dolls already. My era was late 70s and early 80s too. I can't afford to buy back certain dolls (like try finding a cheap party time from 1981!)But I'm doing ok so far. Good luck with your collecting, it's fun!

I was lucky and still have my original collection although had added lots and lots since them, Lol
And its helps that my sister collects too so we have a joint collection, most of it is at my house so I get to play with it.
