Hi Following a thread about Jane Austen with Carl I'm inspired to ask you about that favourite brooding male literary character Mr Fitzwilliam Darcy from Pride and Prejudice.
Well who is your fave?
1. Sir Laurence Olivier (1940s)
2. David Rintoul (approx 1979 and ex Dr Finlay)
3. Colin Firth (1995- JA never mentioned THAT wet shirt)
4. Matthew Macfadyen (2000s with Keira K)
LOL Bxx

I'd go for the vintage actors Bronnie.
Orson and laurence knock spots off the younger generations IMO. Yes David Rintoul played a great Darcy didnt he. I got that P & P vidio set from the charity shop the other week.

Well as for Bronnie who started the thread it's David Rintoul as I think he's the one I would trust most.
