Hello, my names Loretta or Lorlor for short! I have a small collection of sindy dolls and quite alot of other fashion dolls. But I have just recently decided to start collecting sindy in a big way! she was the first doll I had as a child and I really feel a big attachment to her. My hubby says I'm going through a middle age thing! I said cheek I'm only 42!! So I found this forum today and decided to join and talk about my 'new' obsession, and hopefully learn some new stuff about sindy. lorlor.

Hi, every one seems so friendly here! thank's Robin for saying I have a beautiful name I was named after an actress" Loretta Young " that my dad liked from the 40's\ 50's I think she was American. And as for having no money I know what you all mean "how can you miss a bargain"! I also have a LARGE collection of mohair collectors teddy bears. but now I intend to concentrate on Sindy. As for what era I like best I can't really say I have a favourite, at least not at the moment. Lorlor

You will love this site!I am new too and have found everyone so lovely and helpful and best of all they make me lol!Some days when feeling down I have come on here and gone to bed with a smile on me face!I have never outgrown my Sindyd to be honest.I had my first Sindy at 4[1976 Funtime] and am still collevting now!Hope you love it here as much as me!
