Hi, My name is Jo and I've been collecting Sindy for only about 6 months now. Im 33 and unfortunately sold all my old sindys when I was 11 to fund new things, like a bike and a stereo (times were hard, lol). I saw a picture of a stardance in a book and it brought all the old memories flooding back and I knew I had to get her again! So started with an old ballerina and went from there, I currently have 16 dolls in original outfits and quite a few awaiting outfits and repairs, and am learning all the time about what constitutes a mint condition doll. I hope to pick up lots of new tips on this lovely site and learn how to reroot (something Ive attempted once and failed miserably). Jo x  |

hi jo may i be first to welcome you ,you will find so many friendly people and pick up lots of ideas and tips dont give up on the rerooting it is so rewarding once you master it and you wont be able to stop

You must have a go at rerooting again!!!! Its so rewarding when you transform a doll.
If Lisa and I can do it anyone can....... We both started at the same time on our first...and had so much fun comparing notes.

i've just started my first reroot and OMG my fingers are so sore....lol,she won;t get completed now til i come backf rom my holidays.
but everyone here is very helpful.

Welcome to the best forum ever.
Yep I have to agree with all the others, rerooting is sooo addictive. Spend a bit of time reading the other posts until you get inspired to start again. You will be so glad you did!
