Hello all -- What a nice, informative forum you have here! I am HollyS from Virginia and Sindy (the Marx version) and her tall dollhouse lived in my room when I was a child in the late 1970s-early 80s. I have been unpacking my girlhood things out of my parents' attic and sorting through them all, including my Sindy doll and her furniture. I had held onto these things thinking that one day I would have a little girl to share them with, but as it turns out I have two rowdy little boys! So, I am preparing my Sindy things and many of my other dolls to go up on ebay. This is sad, but hopefully what I have will delight a collector who is searching for these pieces. I am hoping that someone on this forum could answer a question for me about one of the Sindy sets I have. I have three of the mail away sets: Let's Bar-B-Que, Let's Go to the Beach, and then, there's this one other, and I'm trying to see whether I have all the pieces to it. It looks like an art set: an easel, a few Sindy pictures to paint, a couple of paintbrushes, a doll sized art apron. Can anyone tell me what this set was called, and what were the original contents? Thanks very much, and best wishes to everyone here!

Hi Holly A warm welcome to this forum where everyone is friendly. Wow you are so lucky to have your original collection. I hope you get the answers you are looking for. I am a 60s and early 70s collector and have just started doing some OOAKs so I don't know very much about your 80s pieces. However, I would love to see pics if you can post them. Enjoy the forum Sue xx
