For those members who wish to have an alert box pop up to tell them they have new private messages. Please follow the instructions below:
1. Go to your private messages page.
2. Click on the button Preferences (located:top right on the purple bar)
3. A page headed 'Personal messages preferences' will be shown.
3. The question 'Would you like an alert box to notify you when a new Personal Message has arrived?' will be at the button.
4. At present is says 'no'. Click the arrow next to the word no to make the small menu drop down.
5. Click on 'Yes'.
6. Save your preferences.
7. You will then see a message saying 'Your preferences have been saved.'
