I am new to the site and wanted to introduce myself. I don't any Sindy dolls yet but would really like to find a 1979 Sindy dressed in the ballerina outfit. I remember having her when I was a kid and didn't even know that Sindy was the name of the doll until I saw the peasant dress displayed on her listed on ebay. I then realized that Sindy was the name. I just recently started to collect other types of dolls. I would really like to find a 1979 Sindy mint in the box (although I know this is probably pretty difficult). Also, I am not sure if it was made by Marx, etc. - I am still new to this. Thanks for your time.

The ballerina you are after was probably pedigree as marx didn't sell boxed ballerinas but did sell a ballerina outfit separately It would have been a yellow box.

What was the hair colour of the first sindy you had or don't you mind which one it is

What other dolls do you collect ? Would love to hear about an collection you have no matter how small ;D
