Another Sindy Collector

Hi there. yes I am another Sindy collector. I am 36 years old and have been collecting Sindy dolls, clothes and furniture since I was 4 years old.

I have all my original stuff plus more that I have collected in the past 12 years.

Fortunately 4 years ago we bought a house with a spare room big enough to have my houses and furniture on display all the time.

I am really particular now about what I buy. However just last week a friend gave me her 3 Sindys and some outfits which I didn't have! Which is how I came to find this web site. I was trying to identify some of the outfits.

I am similar to Cheryl in what era of Sindy I collect. People are always fascinated by my collection and love to remember their own childhoods. Happy memories!

How amazing to have all your original collection. This is most unusual as if you read other posts you'll find it was normally given away by neat moms or went mouldy in the garage!!

Sorry for the delay in replying.

just trying to upload an image of my sindy house.
This was taken last year.

since then I have aquired another house and garage which I was so excited about.

I have the swimming pool which was my first ever purchase on ebay about 4 years ago. I always wanted the swimming pool as a child. My friend Kathryn had it. It looks more like a hot tub than a swimming pool!!!

My mum made me a Sindy house when I was a child. Blue Peter style. 3 stories high. Hence I had loads of furniture.

But now I have the plastic houses!!! Sometimes the floors collapse. Any tips would be welcome!
