Hi All
Really enjoyed reading all the comments, we have just come back from holday (we convinced our daughter to wait till after the holiday).
I can't believe you have rats zoe when you are obviously so allergic .... but the picture is such a cutie.
We are still undecided, I'd have rats.
I had a pair of "female" gerbils off my best friend when I was a kid (her Dad was threatening to drown them and she wanted them to have a nice home) ... anyway after convincing mum and dad we were doing our bit to save them we took them in and gave them a home.... a few days later I had 8 gerbils..... tried to sex them and separate them...... obviously made a mistake somewhere and soon ended up with 12 gerbils!!!
To say the least Mum and Dad were not best pleased especially when the pet shops did'nt want any of them......
All that aside, I still really love gerbils. LOL
Luv Dawn xx

I like small rodents in fact I have had them all...Mice everything...But I love my rats ;D Although I can't be with them as much as I would like. But the kids look after them fab. My daughter bathed them yesterday in my tiny tears bath..... ;D They smell of baby shampoo today.

Rats that smell like babies I am the opposite to you Zoe when it comes to rats.. I have a rare immunity to them.. I have all sorts of problems when I have a blood tests.. I have to have a test that the results haven't derived from testing on rats.. most of the time when I have a blood test the results suggest that I am very ill

Oh Lisa I wish I only have to be with mine for five minutes and I am off sneezing I have to wear long sleeves and make sure they don't touch my skin with there feet.....It's a nightmare but I love them to bits...especially Millie...She is so funny. She jumps like a kangeroo. ;D If she is on the floor she jumps on the sofa Obviously she is'nt to go on it because of me so you put her down and she jumps back on....Pain she is but so cute. The kids play with them out of my way. She very rarely comes downstairs...But I do like to have a stroke and a kiss every week.

what about seahorses. they really are beautiful but apparently very hard to look after.(they die if you are not on them 24/7) i would still love to have a couple though.
