I just wanted to say a big hello to you all. This is my fave sindy site. I have been a massive fan of sindy since I got my first one at Xmas in 1978, when I was little. She was a blonde active and within the year she had 2 glued on hands, broken ankles and some missing hair!!! She went awol aswell, not surprising really, ;D. My next one was a brunette funtime at Xmas 1980. When I resurrected her a few months ago, she had only a few fingers, not much face paint and a very uneven mohican from years of being dragged round by her hair!! She now sports a full crowning glory of gorgeous titian curls, green eyes and new eyebrows and eyelashes. I swear shes smiling more too!!My first ooak was put on hold because I disovered my own doll out of my ancient toys. Have been buying allsorts on ebay and my first ooak was one of my first buys. Shes now got blue hair, new face paint and am jusy waiting to root out my sewing machine to make her an outfit, then shes going back on ebay, to find a new home hopefully.. Have got around 30 dolls, 5 of them from my younger days. I managed to get hold of a Gayle too, a few months ago. She was only 45.00, which was a lot for me as am not in work at the mo, but looking at some of the prices, I got a bit of a bargain, she is missing 1 finger though, but on the plus side, her ankles still pose!!! Anyway, Ive woffled on enough for now so will look forward (hopefully) to getting to know you all and creeping for advice.... ;D Bye for now, love Sam... xx
