I'm a bit concerned about the curriculum at Waterloo Road this term as they are down to 2 English teachers (since one committed suicide and one left for Africa) and this is obviously the main subject taught. There will be less French this year since Steph is now also head of pastoral care. History was dropped after 2 lessons when Jack returned to being headmaster. Art has been dropped as Kim left for Africa also. However not to worry about drama despite the murder of the last drama teacher, as we have a new keen teacher. Maths has been introduced for the first time for year 11 pupils, just in time for their GCSEs.
Good job none of them want to study science, history, arts, languages or social subjects!

PS how did the guy who attempted to rape a teacher, attacked the headmaster, set fire to the school and last term was selling drugs at the school gate...end up on the staff?

Hi Lisa, it's on Thursday BBC 1 at 8pm. I've put it in the 'so bad it's good' category of TV viewing.
I am slightly reassured now though as we seem to have a new English teacher to replace the one who committed suicide - so the kids will be getting their full quota of English lessons after all!
