Hello, I'm from Holland. I've been collecting Sindy's for a few years now. I've joined up because although (I think) I know an awful lot about Sindy, I've got at least one that I'm not sure about.
I can reroot Sindy's but do so only if necessary. I do admire ooak's from others - have a couple in my collection.
I have been known to buy Barbie clothes and dress Sindy's in them - the clothes looks much better on Sindy anyway.
I'm just curious and would like to hear from other collectors...

Welcome aboard Rachel I like dressing some of my Sindys in Barbie things as well as some of Takara Jenny things and Faerie Glen outfits too - it gives more of a veriety for her to choose from!! Hope you will enjoy getting to grips with the Forum layout and getting to know us

Frances, I collect all generations up to 1988. I love the trendy girls best (I think) but I'm also very fond of the actives. I have a first edition ballerina in box and am lucky enough to have 2 Gayles (greedy!). One of these is in box but unfortunately not in her original outfit - might be an idea to post it in wanted. I really like the girls from the sixties as well and have about 12 of them including one in her box. You see I actually love all my Sindys! I will certainly try posting a pic of my mystery girl in the ID thread.

Cheryl, Yes, the Barbie collectors outfits are beautiful, I have the 2 swan lake outfits, princess of greece, the Victorian skater and the purple flapper outfit. And of course the Renaissance outfit on Suzy's lovely creation.
