Hi everyone. I'm Louisa 24 from England. I loved Sindy as a child but sadly I sold all my dolls except one which i can't find, not sure who she was but she had dark brown hair and my nan made her a gorgeous outfit. I'm trying to recollect the Hasbro Sindy dolls I had when I was a kid.

I collect loads of other dolls including Pullips, Winx club, My scene and bratz. I love to customise my dolls too. I've rerooted nearly all my My scene dolls.

Glad to have you aboard ;D I see a few of the girls have already welcomed you, so that is a good start!! I collect Sindys from various incarnations including Hasbro and Vivid Imaginations and beyond, but 70s and 80s Pedigree Sindy are my main love.

I also have a collection of Barbies, a Jenny and 2 Jenny friends, a Fleur, a Tammy, a Misty/Miss Clairol and some Tressys.

I don't re-root, but I admire the people that can very much, as some of their creations are just wonderful to look at!! You'll find loads of inspiration here, but you just may inspire others with your work, so do post pics when you are able!!

If you need help with anything just ask and someone will point you in the right direction

I made the mistake of selling my childhood Sindys too...but it's a lot of fun rebuilding the collection now

I'd love to see some pics of your other doll collections too.

Thank you everyone for making me feel so welcome. Sadly I have no Sindy's yet but as soon as I do I will post many pictures. I would love to start collecting the Pedigree Sindys but have no idea where to start. Ebay is my only access to these dolls as none of the second hand shops ever have any.
