Hi Luc
your English is very good. It shows how poor mine is and I am from England. ;D
You are very welcome here and I can't wait to see your dolls. You have a very kind friend in Ireland.
I guess you can send her cheques with Ireland being a euro country. I am all for the euro's never used to be but international trading amongst people would be so much easier.
I love Greece and have a diploma and Degree in Classical history (ancient Greece and Rome) Everything we have now, theatre music philosophy Arts diplomatic views everything we owe down to your anciestors.
Gosh! thats a bit of a secret now you all know I am a history buff.
Any way Luc welcome and enjoy

@ beanie Hi to you too :-) Thank you for your kind words about my English however I know that sometimes I make terrible spelling and gramar mistakes, not to mention the word order... Ugh! It is just killing me :-p
Oh dear it sounds so interesting to study history! In fact it was and is my favourite subject! I have studied and become a journalist however I work for 15 years for an oil company. The money are good and it is a stable job.
Um... no I managed to send to my Irish friend GBP via my bank and yes she is very dear to me! A lovely kindhearted friend whom I am very proud to be honnorred with her friendship.
Thanks for the lovely welcome message :-)

Luc your grammar is fine, I can understand what you write. My grammar is very poor so please don't fret. English people have their own style of writing which is informal. People who are taught English learn Standard English which I think is very hard. I write as I speak "common"
What do you do in your oil company. I have never met anyone who works in oil only on the north sea rigs.

Beanie this is true! For the common english that is... In the English school I went they taught me very formal english and most of the time, when I enter a forum and read what people write I can't understand a word! (laughs). Your grammar is fine and it is so great that we can understand each other!
Well actualy I sell oil and oil products to major Greek companies. Most of my clients are industrial clients like companies which make roads (and need oil products to do so), or big industries which use fuels in order to run their business. The company I work for was originaly started from the American Esso. Then Esso Pappas sold the company in 1984 to the Greek State. I work for the Greek government. It is a good job actualy but after 15 years I have got a bit bored...
I like very much to listen to music and read books. I also like to stitch :-) I remember that when I was a child I loved so much Sindy dolls and felt very sad because I could not aford to have some. (I only had one which I keep it till today). I like traveling and meet new people. I also have a 10 year old son who I simply adore. I usualy do not speak about him in forums however this place seems safe with lots of people who maintain the little child in them. (a little more info about me). Feel free to ask anything you want.

Oh you must be very happy with 3 children! I wish I could have one more! I will post a pic of my old Sindy as soon as I get her (I have her at my sumer house). It was the cheapest we could find back then and she wears only the pink swimsuit. She needs re-rooting I am afraid but other than that she is fine. No bite marks, melting or anything.
I am still looking around the forum and read so interesting things about dolls. I am very pleased that I was accepted in here! There are so many things that I didn't know!

I would like to re-root her and I have no doubt that it will be very exciting but since I have never re-rooted a doll I am afraid that If I make an attemt I will spoil her. She is very valuable to me. I read in this forum that the re-rooting kits come with instructions, however I am afraid that I will not be able to make it. I would like to find someone to do it for me. There was a site which I found and they were re-rooting dolls but now I am afraid they have stoped. :-(

It is very easy Luc but I understand your concern maybe another member here would take on your doll. I would have done her for you but I have only done 3 myself.

Penny, Kat and Alabama, thanks for the welcome to the forum!
@ Penny I have been collecting a few months too and I don't have so many Sindy dolls. I am so glad that you have a new re-rooted Sindy. I am sure Hannah did a great job, she is fantastic with dolls and a very kind person!
