Apparently thhis is the place where I say hello to fellow Sindy fans.I must admit I have only rediscovered my love of this doll as I had a cousin find our Sindy's from back in the day (1981) in a cupboard,when I lived in Newport Wales.She was older and my mum had bought me Ballerina Sindy (Brunette),on a family visit pulling my Sindy along side me,Katherine got terribbly exited and ran to her bedroom to introduce me to her Blonde Sindy...
many months of Sindy playtime later we moved to Australia,and in the land DownUnder boys don't play with dolls...I had to leave my favorite friend behind.
It is only now with the delivery of these long lost kids that I have had the chance to realise that at 33 years old there is still a pull from friends long lost...(and you can afford to buy them a whole new wardrobe on Ebay...)

Well hi there! Nice to see another Aussie in the Forums ;D This is certainly the place to be. I've only recently rediscovered Sindy, early this month actually and have already bought 14 dolls off eBay and bidding on another 7 or 8  as well as a heap of clothes and accessories. Very addictive hobby  |

Hi and Welcome aboard! I also found my dolls from childhood and that's what got me started collecting again ...I am sure you are going to have tons of fun with your new/old hobby. The best part is, now you can 'grow' your collection to your heart's content! One of my older friends who builds miniatures always says grownups can stay young by remembering how to play--she always says we don't play enough because we grow up and forget how to. Hello to one ex-pat Welsh person from another that still lives in UK, just not in South Wales!! I still visit "home" a few times a year. I hope we get to chat soon about Sindy and other things.
