Hiya...I've just joined the forum and thought I'd say a quick hello before having a look around

My name's Kat (in case my username didn't give it away )

I've only just started to collect Sindy again. She was my absolute favourite toy as a child...it's only recently that I've remembered just how much stuff I used to have.

I'm hoping to mostly collect the dolls and fashions from the 1980s as that was my era. My first sindy was the styling Sindy in the long lilac dress...my heart totally melted the other day when I saw a picture of one.

I've just bought the first Sindy for my collection on ebay...she's a Brunette and absolutely gorgeous (I think I love the Brunettes the most) and she's got me absolutely hooked on Sindy again.

So here I am

Oh...I also collect other things like My Little Pony, female action figures (I'm a bit of a geek) and well..loads of other stuff so would love to chat about all that too.

It's great to meet a new member!
I've collected Sindy for ages now and lots of other dolls and figures... I've just started buying My little pony.... and I blame Robin (one of the members here) for that . After seeing her fantastic pony reroots! and the Megan/pony doll that she made...


Post piccies of your collections we would all love to see them...

Welcome to a very friendly forum. I like the brunettes best too, Maybe because I am dark haired. They always seemed so hard to find.

My first Sindy in my collection was a brunette and I thought she was really rare. LOL

Welcome aboard and enjoy your time with us!! There's plenty here that should interest you. I have one or two female action figures too and I added an Action Man to my coection yesterday - a footballer in Liverpool strip!!

Would love to see pics of all your various collections at some point

Whereabouts in Devon are you,s there are a few members who live in and around the county - some like me in Exmouth, another in Barnstable and one in Plymouth? There are a few members from Wiltshire and Bristol areas too!!

I'm actually in Plymouth...I've only just moved here from the Dorset area so I'm still finding my way around. Really enjoying Devon life though It's great to know there are some Sindy fans near-by.

I love taking pics of my collections so I'll definitely post some on the forum.
