50s Chiltern Teen Nightdress case restoration

I bought a rather manky looking Chiltern 1950s nightdress case but the doll was sound and I quite like Chiltern teen dolls, so I thought I would update it. Here is a series of pictures of what I have done so far.

As you can see the dress is plush but is in a poor state

made a paper pattern

then a mock up of dress to get fit using old white sheeting (?toile)

cut this dress up to make a new one for dolly
