I am totally new to the world of Sindy, or should I say, i'm on a return trip! I had one Sindy as a child in the late sixtys and only two or three outfits, at age 12 all my dolls dissapeared into the realm of younger cousins, I dont remember being consulted lol, it seems to have happened without me noticing. I began collecting other vintage dolls about five years ago, mostly 1950's hard plastic and more recently I've moved towards '50's teen dolls. A few weeks back I was browsing ebay, there were no 'new additions' from when I had last looked so out of boredom I widened my search and ended up in Sindys and that was that! I had two winging their way to me within a matter of days, now I cant seem to stay away from anything remotely Sindy lol, so here I am, hopefully amongst others that have re~found that fresh faced little miss with a better wardrobe than mine!

Hi Mims ;D Welcome aboard the Sindy train once again!!  I think most of us are like you and first had a Sindy when we were little, only for them to be given away as we hit our teens!  It's been great to rediscover her but she has become an obsession for me, although I do have some other vintage fashion dolls too  You start at one thanks to evilbay and end up with 100  Hope you enjoy your time chatting with us all and will post some pics of ALL your dolls eventually  Luv Nita xx |

We've all been there. In my case 1 Sindy horse followed by a doll for its rider 17 and a half years ago turned into over a 1000/Sindys/Barbies/Clones etc.
I just love dolls it is such an important part of me.

Hi mims! Unlike you, I never had a Sindy doll when I was young, but my mother threw out all my childhood dolls and fluffy toys when she considered me too old for them. I was never consulted about the matter either. I've recently discovered my obsession for Sindy and am spending far too much money on her!
