Hi.. I have a lovely Tyler doll ..The only thing wrong with her is that her hair is up in a very tight bun.. I have just been very brave and undone the bun She now has long messy hair down to her bum .. I am going to give it a wash and see if I can restyle it...Wish me luck Do any of you know how to get her head off ?? I was thinking of re rooting her if the restyle doesn't go well..Any suggestions will be much appreciated..Thanks Lisa

Hi Lisa--Have you thought about trying wigs for this doll--if all else fails that might be an option to try. I know I've seen some long wigs are available for Tyler wentworth dolls--likely 'aftermarket' brands. I remember reading on the Tyler site or somewhere that they don't 'recommend' wigs for these dolls because it makes more complex styling harder, but then again, they might be trying to sell more dolls in this case and want to discourage wigging. I have noticed the majority of doll wigs are now sized for bald dolls--so if you still plan to reroot, but want to try a wig on for size first, that would be the time to measure up and try it (once existing hair is off, before installing new hair). Wigs are a little harder to work with (keep on dolly head) and style--that much is true! But I still like them despite the bother because I like being able to change up the doll's 'look' all the time like they do with models in the fashion world!!! I am sorry I don't know how to pop the heads on those--have you tried looking for a dedicated Tyler Wentworth discussion group--some of the OOAK people on those lists may be able to guide you step by step as for head removal and rerooting!I hope you have better luck after you wash her hair--it can be very 'fly away' after being up in a bun for so long; perhaps some extra conditioner will help. Take care, Frances

Hi Frances..Thanks for the wig idea..Its not to bad after a warm wash and a blow dry..I think I am going to try and perm it with plastic straws ..I am not going to try and get her head off she is to expensive to get broken..Lisa

Hi Lisa
yes I did thank you!
Thank you for the welcome back its good to be home.
Can't wait to see the photo of your tyler WHy did you take out her hair?
Is she naked or was she brought clothed?
I have looked at them to buy but I must say too much for my piggy bank and my kids would destroy her.
