The 25 dolls I bought last Sunday were looking at me asking for a bath. So I thought I would do a few then prettyfy them, But I had 2 casualties whilst bathing, When I was washing the hair of one only her body came back out of the sink and saw this head bobbing about in the water The I saw my lovely auburn hair doll and realised she had a fat neck, the fat neck turned out to be like that because her neck was broken and her head had been squeezed onto her body, so now Im not sure if she has the correct body.

Were they Barbies and tall Sindys, they look like it in the pic. If so they have had the misfortune to have had their clip joints broken probably from vigorous play and hairbrushing. I always hold Barbie and Vivid/Hasbro Sindys by the head and not the neck when i drag the comb through luggy hair to prevent this. Dont despair i have a Barbie thats had the misfortune to have lost her neck clip. I used supergule and just glued her head onto the top of the stem of her neck. I'd advise to do this after you have combed through and styled the hair those. Glueing a small bead onto the stem might also help to hold it. Obviously the little lady wont ever be able to move her head again but at least it makes her look lovely for display. I always check closely when buying cheap 2nd hand Barbies that they have their heads fixed on properly. All those with pushed down heads and fat faces have suffered the fate of the dreaded broken neck/mechanism.
