well i have never been more terrified of attempting a custom before! LOL Here she is at the half way stage ~ She has only been a third of the way rerooted using the lock and loop techinque. The mohair is an absolute nightmare to work with! She has 2 new sets of foiled eye chips and i have given her sleep eyes with new pull strings of ribbon with new pull rings on both. She has had new eyelashes and her eyelids repainted ~ she has also been sandmatted and buffed to a soft sheen she even has her own little pet to keep her company PMSL! i really really must finish her soon ~ i have been working on her for weeks and not got very far at all! LOL She is still half bald and half blind! lol so near yet so far ^_^

This is a stunning doll, normally I don't like Blythes but yours is lovely. The hair really suits her & love her pet too!

She is so cute!
I love Blythe dolls so much. And of course, there aro no Blythes in my country. It really sucks : (!
Where did you get yours? And was it expensive? I have dozen of pictures of them, they are so pretty. And yet, I found zero of them in shops. How annoying is that? : D

£50? O.o And do they produce these dolls nowadays? Or you can find them on places like ebay only? yes, Blythes have been reproduced from around the year 2000 and are known as 'neo' Blythes and are produced by Takara. they range in price from $60 -800+ Kenners, the original 1970's Blythes go for over $500+,i have seen them fetch over $1000 Online shops such as hobblylink japan, nasty nip and dolls JP stock them, ebay seems to be the best place the get them though

Oh my god shes gorgeous. I have only just started to like Blythe dolls you know.
I have only ever liked 11 1/2" fashion dolls before, never been a fan of the bigger ones, but for some reason there is something about Blythe.
Your dolly is beautiful you have done a fantastic job, the hair looks amazing I love the pink eye shadow and eyelashes and the material of her dress so cute!
good work! ~cuteek~
