Hi, Has anybody ever rerooted a barbie before Im all ready to buy my hair for my sindys but want to know how hard/easy it is to reroot a barbie. Luv, Suzzy  |

Yeh I done a few barbies b4 I tried a Sindy as it goes I think Sindy is easier... she has less holes in the head and i s far quiker reroot but the harder head sindys are really difficult... have a go see waht you think.... I got a few pics of some of the barbies I have done...

Heloo ummmm you have gotto soak the head a little in warm water ... this will soften it ia bit and then you have gotto slowly work the head free its on a v shaped hook and the hook will snap if you pull too hard  grrrrrrrrrr If yuyou go slowly you should be ok... Will post a pick later cant find my camera# be careful not to snap the neck part --- it can be fragile |

hello everyone... heres another. this was my first go at rerooting anything at all and I was rather pleased with her She has been done ages now... I have don a few more but they were given away to my niece and a friends daughter for their birthdays  |

Hi Claud  Your reroots look lovely, i like the blue colors!! When I removed Barbie's head, I did cut off the V-shaped hook, so when my daughter wants to get Barbie's head off, she won't break the neck  Corine xxx |

Hi Claud I love the blue hair Barbie! How strange Barbie's neck looks like when you take it off, i wouldn't dare try to take mine's heads off but they have nice hair anyway.

Hi, Claud thanks for your help I'll have ago at that, are they harder to do because of the holes being so close together? Your dolls loooooook great. Iv'e done 2 sindy dolls and now Im doing my Sarah Louise I will post them over the weekend for you all to see.

Hi there Suzy, Yeh I find it harder because the holes are tiny and theres LOADS of them ...and I get bored really easily... and if I dont finish my reroots fairly quikly I put them away for ages and dont look at them sometimes for months.... I love this colour, where would I buy it? I haven't attempted a Barbie reroot yet only Disney Mattel dolls and they seem to have a lot of head holes. ;D |
