I want to start with a reroot of a small pippa doll (ON THE PICTURE OM THE LEFT), before I start with Sindy. But I am a littlebit hesitating to begin......Can you give me tips, what NOT to do and how to start? One of my question is, do I make more wholes in her head then she has originally?? And how many? Or is it just try and see.....?? MArijke img357.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pict5400js3.jpg

Keep the plug size about the same as the original was. Don't put too much hair into each hole as it will split the scalp. Some holes are larger and you will obviously need a thicker plug. Be careful when pulling the plugs through as if you're too heavy handed again it will split the scalp. Also be careful you don't pull the eyelashes out by catching them in the plugs.
Start from the bottom holes making your way to the parting and crown. I always start at the back of the head and work around following the holes. I do the parting last because you have to weave the hair side to side in order to give her a clean parting that doesn't show the scalp. Take extreme care with the parting as the holes are very close together and can be prone to splitting in to one long line.
You can add extra holes if you prefer( a needle will do this for you), usually people do this where there is a large area of scalp with no manufactured holes. How many and where depends on each individual.
Happy re-rooting ;D ;D

Hi Marijka and Hannah ,good luck with your first time re-roots .I start at the top and work downwards .If I'm doing a parting I either do it intentionally and weave the plugs then put each side into a band to keep it tidy whilst I do the rest or I just re-root and then style the part at the end .
