Hi! I've been collecting 1:12 miniatures for a long time, but lately I've been getting more and more into 1:6 dolls. I even bought a Sindy house recently to house them all, so I'm having fun using my spare time to do that up. I don't have too many Sindy dolls myself (though I do have a lot of her clothes and furniture...), but my mum is a big Sindy collector so I have been indoctrinated over the years! I was so pleased to find Sindy had an active forum and I'm looking forward to chatting to you all!

Thanks so much for the lovely welcomes! <3 Yay, we will be newbies together niva80. I'm another one from South Wales - I love it, except for the rain... Thank you! I've been having a look through everything so far, but I'm sure it won't be long before I'm posting away! To dollyholic - we just end up talking dolls all the time (not that that's a bad thing!) and spurring each other on. One of us will be like, oh, I don't need that outfit, etc, and the other will say '...but it's so cute'.

Hi and So neat to see that your mum is also a Sindy follower. My grown up daughters are not at all interested in my Sindy hobby. They just sigh and give me funny looks when I talk about my 'girls' so I have just given that up and save it for the forum. Has your mum also joined the forum? ?

Thanks Becky - I've been having a great time so far looking at all the Sindy pictures! Thanks for the welcome Patricia I just love having a hobby that has nothing at all do with work (it sometimes feels like the other 99% of my life revolves around it! lol) No, she's not the best when it comes to the internet sadly. Though she never struggles to operate ebay...

It's always good to have a partner in crime as it were! I have my friend and we are such a bad (but good!) influence on each other with our dolly passions. I really trust her judgement too, it's always good to have another set of eyes!
The eBay comment made me chuckle!!! ;D

Hello, welcome to the forum. I have been away from the forum for a few months now as we have been renovating a house in South Wales near Aberglasney. When we started it was as holiday home but now we have decided to sell up in London and move back to Wales after 28 years! The girls have been packed up and now reside in a container in Ammanford and will be there for another couple on months I guess. I am looking forward to a drier summer after the very long wet and cold winter we have had! Chat soon. Brigid
