great picture and I love the name.
Was going to call one of my latest pups Sindy but my dh wouldn't let me. His mum had one called Sindy when he was a child - a nasty biting dog- and it put him off.

I did think Sindy when Paul 'rescued' her[liberated her from a tiny crappy cage after telling the owner,I take her or I ring the RSPCA!]but it didnt suit her either. Now she is Dolly Dimple Simple!xx

Oh bless her little poochy nose!! I'm so glad you rescued her and she'll be comfy and well looked after now. I love the name, ;D. We had a little dog when I was born and she was called Sindy!! I had nothing to do with the name as she was there before I was born but I suspect my sister probably helped to choose! xxxx

Awwww cheers guys!Yes,she is so sweet bless her, softest dog ever!Yeah,Paul rescued her.He used to see the poor lil mite in a small cage,so small she couldnt stand up,whilst walking to get the kids from school..Out in all weathers, and one day Paul had enough and decided to have a few words with the owner!

I cannot understand why some people have dogs, or any pets in the first place. Some of the stories you hear just break your heart, and as a dog owner I know how much love and affection (and also hogging the sofa and chewing my slippers!) they give us. Dogs are a lot nicer than some humans in this world I'm sure. Thank goodness your husband did what he did.

I am glad he did too.Where animals are being mistreated he isnt afraid to say something. And he is usually a quiet unassuming chap!Dolly has given us so much love back bless her and just so good with the kids. One of my happiest times is seeing her bouncing through long grass. She disappears and then, boing, there she is!xx

It's good to know she's happy and bouncy now!
My cocker spaniel is my little baby!! LOL I spoil him like mad and I get so sad when I see any animal mistreated. The RSPCA ads always make me cry. Last week I logged on online and made a donation I was so upset by one ad I watched.
Give her a tummy tickle from me! xx

Awwww will do,she loves tummy tickles! And I love spaniels. My gran always had them, would never have any other dog. The way some people treat animals sickens me.And at some stables, well it doesnt bear thinking about. What worries me is I see young girls treating their ponies in an appalling manner.Thing is,they usually learn it from old school tutors. And they always blame their mounts, never themselves. Some spoilt little girls!I feel there is no need to take a whip to a horse.xx
