Thanks for the welcome Anita. Hello everyone, my name is Laurie and I've been collecting Sindy since last march. I particularly love the 1968 new look Sindy up to the mid-70's dolls. So far I've collected 7 dolls and two Pauls, also many clothes and some furniture. I love the style of the 1950's and 1960's, also Sci-fi & fantasy movies, reading, dogs and hiking. Hi to anyone who knows me from the other forum and Happy new year to everyone

Welcome, Laurie!
We love the 50's/60's styles here, as well. I've got some Paul kit for my Action Men, as some of it is so well made. Sorry to admit, I'm not keen on the figure himself (Maybe, because he's such a hit with Sindy, it's just jealousy!!!)
Great to see pics of your collection tho' inc Paul!!!
Jim

Hi Laurie Welcome to the forum, I am quite a new collector, also interested in the late sixties to mid seventies girls. I got my first Paul by default along with a car that we,me and my husband, bid on. Look forward to seeing your posts and chatting on the forum soon. Brigid

Hi Jim and Brigid, Thanks for the welcome. Jim, Action men have a host of great outfits to choose from don't they, I might get an outfit or two for the Paul's as some point, I think he'd look good as a Canadian mountie! Paul's own wardrobe is quite limited. I prefer the molded hair Paul's, not so keen on the hairy top. I'm in the process of rerooting one of my dolls so I'll put a picture up of the gang when she's finished - it seems to take forever! Brigid, I never really wanted a Paul at first either, but you know how It gets! Lovely to have the car, they're great aren't they and on my want list ( Quite a long list! ) Bye for now. Laurie

Hi Laurie, Sorry for my delay in welcoming you to the forum. I have been so busy and not had much time to come on here but I have been sorting through items to put on my GroovyCart shops and came across quite a few items that are unidentified so I just popped on here to see if anyone could identify them. I didn't get round to welcoming newbies. Anyway, Hello and welcome to this forum, speak soon, Jill x www.groovycart.co.uk/collectable_dollswww.groovycart.co.uk/sindy_the_doll_you_love_to_dress
