X Factor-what on earth??

I only used to watch the auditions,but last year got pulled into watching as I thought Matt Cardle was fab.This year though,what on earth is going on???Why bring back someone who was dumped at the start.Surely in all fairness,they should have brought back Johnnie?
Admittedly,I thought Johnnie was awful,but I think this was due to the terrible song choices and awful staging.I think that they should have let him more of the big black american numbers.He was great at them.
Mind you,I detested Kitty at the start but now I think that she is fab.Considering she was as mad as a box of frogs to start with,she seems relatively sane now!My kiss of death though,she'll probably leave this week!

I've almost given up watching it- it would appear you get voted out not to worry- you'll end up back on the stage in 3 weeks as part of a brand new contrived group put together from all the participants voted off for the last 400 years!!! or something such like- can you tell it's frustrating me?! LOL! xxxx

Ridiculous isn't it!!I seem to have developed a morbid fascination with it!Either that,or I am getting addicted to losing my rag over the injustice of it!

The reason that those 4 people were invited back was because the public never had the chance to vote for them. X Factor bosses decided this year to try a new twist and have the judges vote out one of their own acts the first week. So...these were the four that were given an opportunity to go forward to a public vote when flaky frankie walked out. The cynical part of me wonders if this was planned all along as suddenly out of the blue Simon Cowell was saying the acts weren't trying hard enough and he was introducing a double firing as a way of making them buck up (so...was this always going to be the case so he could bring back the original line up and therefore make more cash with an additional 2 day public vote?)

lol,flaky frankie!Think he was trying to be a second rate Pete Docherty!Mind you Docherty is already second rate...!But I think you might have hit the nail on the head Scotty!Paul reckons that they already have made up their mind who is gonna win,hence Micha B getting the last screen shot on the m and s ad!

Thank goodness that Frankie-I-can't-sing-but-I-can-get-drunk person has gone. Kitty was Krazy but at least she could sing . Can't stand that Mishmash woman - nasty bully if ever I've seen one.
I reckon it is all fixed. Like the dh said to me the person kicked out each week should be the one with the least public votes - dont think the judges should be allowed to keep putting their favourites through.

Hi, a friend of a friend has worked as a stylist on the show, he said it was all a bit set up, they give the person they want voted off a bad song so they do badly. I think Misha does have a great voice, I haven't read anything about bullying, let's hope she has learnt from her showdown. Kitty was too much of a wannabe, don't think people would buy her records, she definitely had courage.

I thought they all had a turn at picking first from the songs they have to sing? I know in the past some contestents have complained that they come down the picking order and got a poor choice of song and the judges say it wasn't their turn to have first pick.

So glad Louie let it go to public vote this week and Craig got voted off - Gary Barlow give one of the other contestents flak for being a 'Cruise Singer' and Craig is such a Cruise Singer type in my opinion.

Yes, I got that last week when Micha got her song over Kitty.
I agree, I thought Craig was more fun at the beginning when he was a bit more camp, I think he was made out to be better than he was, very samey.

Noone really stands out for me. didn't like Craig so I wasn't fussed he went.Bit marshmellowy for my liking and he sings down his nose.I like Marcus as a performer,but he hasn't got that hairs standing on end effect.None of em has!
I liked the big girl Sammi,now she had a voice!

I like Misha B as a performer, she has a fab voice. Craig I think will do well in musical theatre. I do like Marcus but he doesn't make me want to rush out and buy his CD. At the end of the day there is always only one winner - sico.

Hmmm pretty obvious Janet was going to be sacrificed over Misha. The judges are really puffing that one up despite the fact the public don't want her on there. Guess they will have her there til the very end no matter how many times she gets the least votes.
I noticed they have restyled her to appear 'softer' in appearance as well and even told her to stand with her hands near her face to give a more childlike impression rather than the bullying scowl she had at the begining. Even got her to cry the other day to appear less of a bad tempered cow. (Can you tell I don't like her lol)
Have to say I really don't think the contestents are that strong at singing this year. Some years you get a good few with strong voices but this year I've not been impressed.

I agree Sharie,noone really stands out.Barrell and scrape comes to mind.And though I think Mischa voice is ok[tho not unique]I can't get past the fact that she was a bully.Can't stand bullies and will not tolerate it.Feel sorry for the people whose lives she made hell.
