Hi All,

I am 34 and was fascinated with Sindy dolls as a little girl. I still have many items and still in their boxes like the caravan, bed , bath etc. I showed them to my little girls but they had no interest in them, such a pity a new generation does not know who Sindy was. It was such a treat to find this website and no idea it existed. Looking forward to seeing all the messages and memories shared.

Welcome aboard B Great to have another new member Perhaps you can share this site with your girls now and then as we do have a few younger members - some visit with their parents which is so nice. You will find it a bit quiet just now but when members do visit they are lively and friendly bunch of people.
It's good that you have kept some of your childhood Sindy items and still have their original boxes too - shows it meant something special to you, that you managed to keep it (or that your parents allowed you to keep them instead of passing them on to younger family members as you grew older).

Hello and welcome! You will have lots of fun here and everyone is so helpful if you have anything you need to identify. What a shame your children wern't interested in Sindy. I am 16 and I grew up with the Barbies that I wasn't keen on myself - it was all to pink and "girly" for me LOL! Pedigree Sindy is so much sweeter and more realistic. That's great you still have boxed items, especially from your childhood, it makes it that extra bit special :-) Hope enjoy it here! x
