Hi yes saw it on Sunday with my children. We chose to watch it in 2D as I'm not a fan of 3D at all (gives me a headache.) My eldest son watched it in both and actually preferred the 2D version, he says the 3D is just a distraction. We really enjoyed it, but we are all big HP fans anyway, I read all the books to my children when they were younger and we always queued at midnight for the latest one too! ;D Great fun and memories.

Hiya,
We saw it last Saturday in 2D, don't fancy the 3D headaches like faeriegirl.
It was great! I hadn't read the last 2 books so it was all a surprise to me but my bf has read all the books over and over but still really enjoyed it.
There were one or two moments where i needed him to clarify the back story to but overall i loved it.

Editing!! missed the main bit of the message!! would love to see it but husband HATES hp!! I love it,!!! I've read every book religiously like your other half bf Poppy, the best bit was doing the massive midnight openings when I worked for a book shop when they all came out. There was SO much security they were delivered in lorries with no markings what so ever!!!! so they couldn't be detected and we were honour bound to have staff on the premises all the time (through the night also) whilst they were still under embago to prevent anyone sneaking a peek!! phew.
Can't wait to see it, but think I'll have to wait for SKY box office to hit...... time to stock up on the popcorn! LOL xxxx

A visit to the cinema these days is sooooo expensive, this was a treat from our inlaws since they know that their precious boy loves the Potter books/movies.
I remember when the early books came out, i was working for British Airways at Heathrow and what a nightmare it was at the airside bookshop!
Must have been exciting being a fan AND in the thick of it Becky x

Becky that sounds like a lot of fun. I went to a few of the midnight selling here for the books.
I thought the movie was good. I've read all the books. But I think my fav movies of HP are 4 and 1.

I saw it in 3D and thought it was great. Very dark compared to the early ones. I thought the kiss was a bit overrated though, bit of a scrum down rather than a tender moment LOL.
